The Tourist News is distributed free at more than 400 locations in Kennebunkport, Cape Porpoise, Biddeford Pool, Kennebunk, Wells, Ogunquit, York and Kittery. Drop off points include motels, inns, hotels, campgrounds,restaurants, galleries, retail shops, convenience stores and supermarkets, chambers of commerce, visitor centers, and Maine Publicity Bureau information centers. The Tourist News is widely read by area residents as well as visitors throughout Maine's south coastal region and in Northern New Hampshire. Many visitors take issues of TN home to share with friends and neighbors and to help plan future visits. Summer circulation is 15,000 weekly. Spring and fall circulation is 8000 to 10,000, depending upon the issue date. A printing of 18,000 copies of the Holiday Issue is distributed on November 20 and December 4.

Each issue of the Tourist News features stories about local people, points of interest, events, galleries and businesses. Our coming Events page is a tidy compendium of things to do and places to go. The popular maps help readers find shops, antiques, lodgings, restaurants, galleries, beaches, amusements and points of interest. Our Lodging section features "Meet the Innkeepers," profiles of local hosts and hostesses. On the Dining pages, you'll find "Chef du jour," a regular feature introducing restauranteurs, chefs and their specialties.
